Meet Our Team
I qualified from Bristol University over 30 years ago. After working abroad and in Newbury and Southampton, I opened Oxon Dental Care in 1998. After qualifying, I worked for a year in the Maxillofacial unit at Shrewsbury Hospital and was keen to come back and settle in Shropshire.
As a small practice, with a loyal and long serving team established almost 20 years ago, I have been able to get to know patients on a one to one basis and see them and their families grow up, leave home and have children of their own. It is such a privilege.
I genuinely enjoy meeting people, helping patients restore their smile and teeth to be fully functional, pain free and cosmetically pleasing. I get enormous satisfaction out of helping people to overcome their ‘fear of the dentist’ and become regular attendees.
Married with two children, I spend my spare time gardening, on the tennis court and providing a taxi service for my teenage children.
Dr Anusha Mandadi joined at Oxon Dental Care in May2022. Anusha qualified in BDS in 2011 and in 2013 obtained her LDS from Royal College of Surgeons in London. She completed an Msc in aesthetic and restorative dentistry from University of Manchester in 2017.
Anusha also holds a PG in endodontics and operative dentistry. In addition to general general dentistry, Anusha has a particular interest and experience in enhancing smiles and brings extensive experience in Invisalign and SmileFast to Oxon Dental Care. Currently Anusha is pursuing diploma in Implants.
Anusha shares Jonathan’s gentle and open approach and ethical values and will bring new treatment options and additional patient care support to Oxon Dental Care.
Anusha is married with two young children. She enjoys fitness, sports and spending time with her family and close friends.
Amy (Head Receptionist)
I joined Jonathan at Oxon Dental care in 2004 and still really enjoy my job. I love being organised and making sure that everything is running smoothly. It has always been a very friendly practice, perhaps because it is small, I think that patients like this as well. We all know our patients well and I get a lot of satisfaction out of helping patients and making them feel relaxed and valued
When I am not at work I like being a mum to my two children, running, going to the gym and eating out.
I joined Jonathan in 2005. I like working at Oxon Dental Care due to the fantastic team that I work alongside. They show genuine care, consideration and kindness to our patients. I feel lucky to work in such a happy environment, where my work colleagues have become good friends.
Looking after great patients for whom I can really make a difference to their dental health (and make them laugh) makes my job really enjoyable.
When I am not working I love camping and walking my dogs.
I joined Oxon Dental Care in 2005. It’s a great team to work with, who always help each other when needed. We know each other so well it makes the day enjoyable.
What I find really rewarding about being a dental hygienist is getting to know patients, building trust and seeing their dental health improve over time. Getting to know patients as people, makes every day different.
When not working I spend my time running around after two teenage children, doing Pilates and being a scout leader.
Faye (Nurse & Reception)
I love being a dental nurse and a receptionist. It’s not just my job but my life and career and I am so proud to say this is what I do. I love meeting all the patients and helping them maintain their smile. Every day is different from the last, but each day ends with me feeling a sense of fulfillment that I have done my best. I couldn’t imagine doing any other job. Oxon Dental Care is the friendliest practice I have every worked in and extremely professional which only adds to my job satisfaction.
In my free time I like being a mum, having a family and a bit of retail therapy.
Cara Marshall (Practice Coordinator)
Cara started her dental career as a receptionist in 2016. Cara then went on to train as a dental nurse and qualified in 2017. Soon after this she then progressed and became head dental nurse in 2019.
Cara is enthusiastic about dentistry and has a passion for cosmetic dentistry and helping patients achieve their perfect smile. Cara has worked alongside Anusha for 5 and a half years and works as a practice coordinator at Oxon besides being a dental nurse .
In her spare time Cara enjoys travelling, spending time with her partner Gary, friends and her cockapoo Nelly.
Daisy Weaver (Dental Nurse)
